Southern Region Officers
Chairperson
| Ron Twining. Born in 1942, twice married with one son, I have been a member of the naturist movement since 1970. When I joined "Valerian" the local club, and then CCBN in 1972. Since then I have had the honour of holding and serving in the following offices; At club level; P.R.O., Membership, Secretary, Regional Rep, Vice-chairman. At Regional level; P.R.O., Chairman. Regional Cllr, Vice-chairman. At National level: Regional Cllr, Vice-chairman, International Officer, and Holiday Advisor. Founder of Suntreckers, and its first Chairman. Chris Martin. I have been Chairman of Southern Region for over 15 years & proprietor of Southampton Naturist Group since 1978. Naturism is my life and at first consisted of beach & field use. When Sandra and I met in 1963, we joined a club. I have been actively involved in promoting naturism since 1961. My ambition is to see a greater freedom for all naturists, with a natural right to swim and sunbathe on beaches and common land in the UK, but I am mindful that naturists must not offend or be offended by others. e-mail address, |
Treasurer
| Sandra Martin. I am Treasurer of Southern Region and partner in S.N.G. I joined the naturist movement on a beach in Brighton in 1963, and promoted family naturism by having photographs in H & E in the early 70's. A lot of SR members will know me from the Alton Sports Evenings where I have taken the entrance money since 1984. Chris and I have worked diligently to promote naturism for all. Secretary
| Ann Twining I have been attending Regional Committee Meetings ever since meeting my husband Ron and becoming a dedicated naturist thirteen years ago. For the last four years, I have had the honour of serving the Southern Region Committee as it's secretary. As well as serving CCBN, I belong to my local club, Valerian, where I am currently their secretary. Naturism to my husband and I is not just a hobby, but a way of life. e-mail address, |

Members Representative
| Dave Storey Has been a CCBN Member since 1983. He is a member of Diogenes SC and was on the Club Management Commitee for several years. He is also a member of Shabden Leisure Circle and the Watford Naturist Swimming Club. He was appointed as Southern Region Members Representative (SR1) in 1993 and later took over the remainder of the Region (SR2). He was elected as Regional Councillor in 1996 and held that post until 2002. e-mail address, |

Youth Officer
| Neil Harknett. I have recently been appointed Southern Region Youth Officer. I have been a naturist for 5 years, and a member of the 16-30 age group of British Naturism known as YBN for 3. I'm 23, work as a Financial Consultant, and have a girlfriend Kimberley who I met through YBN. YBN is a great way to combine travel and making new friends whilst enjoying the freedom and comfort that naturism brings. There are hundreds of members all over the UK who go to events both here and in Europe. My aim is to show the world that naturism is the most normal and natural thing in the world, and that YBN is about relaxing, soaking up the sun, and playing sport during the day, and socializing at night. e-mail address, |
